  • 3/4 cup sugar

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl beat butter, white sugar and brown sugar with a mixer until light and fluffy.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract and eggs until smooth.Addd all flour, baking soda and salt in a different bowl. Slowly mix in this dry mixture into the wet items until just mixed.

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. To this, add flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  3. While creaming the butter and sugar together, until light and fluffy.
  4. After that beat in 1 egg at a time, beating well after each addition.

Recipe 3: Easy Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 to 3 mashed bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Place oven at 350°F (175°C) 
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with fork until smooth in a bowl.
  3. Melt the butter into the mashed bananas, and then stir.
  4. Sift in the salt then add the baking soda.
  5. Beat egg and add to sugar, vanilla extract.
  6. Stir in the flour gently and add it until just incorporated.
  7. Batter into the greased loaf pan pour.
  8. If a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, it’s done and ready to be baked in a 60 – 65 minute wait.
  9. Once the banana bread has cooled slice and serve.
Tip – Add chopped walnuts or chocolate chips for an extra burst of flavour!

Recipe 4: Soft and Fluffy Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • Pinch of salt

Directions:

  1. Put your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium sized bowl, make the butter and the sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract and beat until it’s smooth.
  4. Mix flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt in another bowl. Mix the dry mixture into the wet ingredients in gradually, and mix until just combined.
  5. Using the scraps, roll into 1″ balls, and set on the prepared baking sheets.
  6. Using the bottom of a glass or the bottom of your hand, flatten any each ball slightly.
  7. Remove from oven and place on a plate, cook for 8-10 minutes or until edges are slightly golden. 
  8. Bake on the pan until they done, then let them cool on the, before transferring to a wire rack.
Tip – For an extra touch, roll the cookie dough balls in sugar before baking!

Recipe 5: Easy Chocolate Mug Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Tip: chocolate chips or chopped nuts

Directions:

  1. Put flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a microwave safe mug and whisk.
  2. Add milk, vegetable oil and vanilla extract; stir until smooth.
  3. You can add chocolate chips or nuts, if you like.
  4. Cook on high for 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes in microwave. It should rise and when it is set at the top, it should look set. 
  5. Let it cool down for a couple minutes and then drink out of the mug!
Tip – Add a scoop of ice cream on top for the ultimate indulgence!
